Biography

Myrian Muniz was born on October 28, 1931 in São Paulo, Brazil. She was an actress and director, known for Nino, o Italianinho (1969), O Jogo da Vida (1977) and Nina (2004). She was married to Sylvio Zilber and Carlos Henrique D'Andretta. She died on December 18, 2004 in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.

Daughter of Agostinho Muniz de Melo (b. 1904 in Azores) and Rosaria Ferri (b. 1911 in São Paulo). Granddaughter of Albina and José Muniz de Melo and Gaetano Fierro and Maria Teresa Menchise.

Sister of José Muniz de Melo.

Mother, from her first marriage, of two boys named Marcelo de Melo Zilber (married to Teresa Fogaça de Almeida) and Rodrigo de Melo Zilber, who died at the age of 18 in 1986.
