Biography

E. Roger Muir was born on December 16, 1918 in Alberta, Canada. He was a producer and writer, known for The Newlywed Game (1966), The New Howdy Doody Show (1976) and Everything's Relative (1965). He was married to Barbara Horn-Muir and Phyllis Stirn. He died on October 23, 2008 in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, USA.

Helped create and was executive producer of popular 1950s series The Howdy Doody Show. After its 13-year run, he served as co-producer of the show's syndicated version, The New Howdy Doody Show, in 1976 and 1977.
