As of July 2015. Helen Geyer is living in Montclair, New Jersey.

In 2007 The YMCA facility in Montclair, New Jersey was renamed. The name was changed to the Helen & Bill Geyer Family Center of Montclair.

Helen has been very active with the YMCA. For years she served on the Ladies Auxillary. And in recent years funded the renovation of a YMCA facility.

Her husband Bill Geyer was a gunnery officer in World War II.

During 1943 there were serious rumors about a relationship between her and Mickey Rooney. They were a couple for most of 1943. And Mickey appeared to be quite serious about wanting to marry her.

As early as 1941 she was posing for Norman Rockwell and was appearing often on many different magazine covers.
