Biography

Wood Moy was born on June 10, 1918 in Canton, China. He was an actor, known for Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), Howard the Duck (1986) and Chan Is Missing (1982). He was married to Mamie Moy. He died on November 8, 2017 in San Francisco, California, USA.

During World War II served in the U.S. Army's 987th Signal Company, one of two all-Chinese-American outfits.

Co-publisher of magazine East Wind, which chronicled the Chinese-American experience.

Earned his bachelor's degree from New York University in 1941.
