Biography

Louis Mouchet spent his early childhood in Tunisia, where his parents went to teach after the country's independence. His first filmmaking experience was an internship on "Marches" (1975), adapted from a book by his father, the poet Charles Mouchet, portrayed by Pierre Holdener. The actor would later inspire Louis Mouchet to make the film "Visionary of the Invisible". In 1983, Louis Mouchet graduated from the London Film School. He began his professional career with an assignment for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), marking the beginning of a fruitful collaboration that continues to this day. This collaboration has since expanded to include various humanitarian and international organizations. From 1996 to 1997, Louis Mouchet was editor-in-chief of Contact Magazine, a television program sponsored by the European Commission. At the same time, Louis Mouchet pursued a path of writing and directing numerous documentaries. "The Family Forest" presented his personal journey through trans-generational therapy, a process that began during the production of "The Jodorowsky Constellation".
