Biography

Bill Morton was born in 1925 in England, UK. He is an editor and director, known for Man Alive (1965), Up Yer News (1990) and The Kenny Everett Television Show (1981). He was previously married to Julie Mellon.

Assisted his wife in the management of The Julie Morton Dancing School.

He worked as a vision mixer on "Fawlty Towers" and was immortalised in the season 1 episode "The Hotel Inspectors", when Sybil mentions a Bill Morton whose friend overheard the hotel inspectors in a bar. He was the only member of the crew mentioned in the series.
