Lincoln Morrison's career has taken him through the ranks of production. Lincoln worked as a 16mm. edge-coding technician while attending Emerson College in Boston, completing his BFA in Mass Communications with a specialization in film and a minor in creative writing in 1984. He then worked five years as Production Manager/Associate Producer for Newbury Filmworks filming regional commercials, documentaries, and corporate profiles for tech leaders such as Digital Equipment Corp., Lotus, Wang, General Electric, and Raytheon. His employer insisted he master all aspects of production: camera, sound, lighting, and grip in addition to his duties as Production Manager. After leaving his staff position, Lincoln capped a successful freelance year as focus puller on the feature film "Banya" in rural Russia during 1990's "summer of glasnost", a project which truly tested the mettle of all crew members. Upon his return to the United States, Lincoln moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career in the camera department, working as a first assistant cameraman before moving on to camera operator, and then 2nd Unit Director/DP. His credits include commercials, music videos, and feature films such as Kevin Spacey's directorial debut "Albino Alligator", the Pauley Shore comedy "Biodome", and Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers "Turbo". In 2003, to counter the effects of runaway production, he made a lateral move into location sound mixing and recording, working on reality-based television shows such as "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", "Biggest Loser", and "Ice Road Truckers". He especially enjoyed traveling the world shooting shows like "Ice Road Truckers: World's Deadliest Roads" and "The Surfer's Guide To Costa Rica", and has shot in 15 countries. Since 2009 Lincoln has singlehandedly directed, shot, lit, and mixed sound for over 300 interviews with the giants of the comic book industry, such as iconic comic creator Stan Lee, DC Comics' Jim Lee and Dan DiDio, "Walking Dead"'s Robert Kirkman, and special guests including William Shatner, Adam West, and Samuel L. Jackson, for the leading website of the genre, ComicBookResources.com, under the banner CBR TV.
