Biography

Erin Moriarty was born on April 6, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. She is known for 48 Hours (1988), CBS News Sunday Morning with Jane Pauley (1979) and The CBS Evening News (1941). She has been married to James Edwin Musurca since October 15, 1983. They have one child.

She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Ohio State University. She received a law degree from Ohio State University and is licensed to practice law in Ohio, Washington, D.C. and Maryland.

Lives in New York with her husband, who is also an attorney, and their son.

From 1983-1986, she served as a consumer reporter for WMAQ-TV in Chicago. She also served as a reporter in Cleveland, Columbus, Ohio and Baltimore. In 1986, she joined CBS News where she has served as a consumer correspondent for CBS Mornings (1987) and the CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite (1941). In 1990, she joined the CBS News program, 48 Hours (1988) as a correspondent.
