Biography

Masayuki Mori was born on January 13, 1911 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. He was an actor, known for Rashomon (1950), The Bad Sleep Well (1960) and The Idiot (1951). He died on October 7, 1973.

Former stage actor, in films from the early 1940's with the Toho Company, often in leading roles under the direction of Kurosawa or Mizoguchi.

Educated at Kyoto University.

Father of actress Aoi Nakajima.

Son of writer Takeo Arishima.

Son of Japanese novelist Takeo Arishima.
