- Andrew Morgan trained at RADA and became a stage director at the Theatre Royal, York, before joining BBC television in drama series and serials. He became a freelance director in 1978. He received BAFTA nominations for Swallows & Amazons, Prince & the Pauper and Worst Witch. Gold Medal, New York Film & TV Festival for White Peak Farm. He received RTS nominations for Worst Witch and Knight School, and an Emmy for Little Lord Fauntleroy (also First Prize, Banff Festival).
Morgan has also made several commercials and corporate videos.

- He was asked to direct Time-Flight: Part One (1982), which starred Peter Davison. He later directed Sylvester McCoy's debut Time and the Rani: Part One (1987) and was voted best director by readers of Doctor Who (1963) Magazine for Remembrance of the Daleks: Part One (1988).
