- Eve Morey is an Australian TV actress who was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Morey is known for her guest appearances on Pig's Breakfast (1999), Home and Away (1988), All Saints (1998). Morey spent a decade on Australian TV soap Neighbours (1985) as Sonya Rebecchi before her characters exit in 2019, Morey was part of the series for more then 900 episodes and her character was married too Toadie. During the series renewal talks, it was revealed that Eve would leave and she pitched the story on how her character would exit. Morey after her exit from the show stayed on behind the scenes as a mentor to actors coming on to the show..
Morey also became a Television Intimacy Coordinator for shows such as Spreadsheet.

- Filmed her last Neighbours scenes in 2018, and it aired early in 2019. Morey left Neighbours after the series was at a crossroads and no-one knew if it would be renewed or not, but the series was renewed and Morey was the fall person. But Morey agreed to stay behind the scenes as a mentor to young actors coming on to the series.

- On her Neighbours exit: I suggested the story when we knew that Sonya would be leaving. One of my questions was: 'How do we get Toadie and Sonya to separate in a way that's very true to them, after everything they've been through?' My first instinct was: 'I think she has to die. She wouldn't leave any other way'. Although I don't think I thought about how traumatic it would be to play out! But I was involved in the evolution of this storyline. We found such beauty in the storyline, but I am very sad that this person who I feel like I've known for nine years, is now passing away.
- On Her Neighbours exit: I was holding their hands and we just held each other for the whole episode, It was just like, 'Oh, God - this is so sad'.

- My father-in-law had brain cancer throughout last year when we were filming and he passed away a week after we wrapped, We did Sonya dying on the beach and then got a call to say we need to come and be with him, and he passed away. It was incredible. If you wrote it, you wouldn't believe it. So much of that was put into that story line and I think that's what people have responded to - the truth of that.
- The good thing about this storyline is we got to really sit in the grief of that. It was difficult, but at the same time there was something beautiful about it. We were in it together. I'm getting emotional. It's sad for Toadie as a character, but it's also sad because you know this part of your life is over; we won't be doing it again.
