Biography

T.J. Morehouse is member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. He is a multi- Generational Native Oklahoman with roots all the way back to the "Trail of Tears" now based in Topanga, California.

He honed his trade first as a Location Manager and later a Production Manager/Line Producer for almost 20 years on the mean streets of New York City.

Following that, he moved to L. A. and has joined forces with PRG as an Account Manager - Senior Project Manager and Consultant. He has over 25 years collective experience in the physical production of Film, Television, Music Videos, Commercials, Large Scale Live Events, Experiential Marketing, Brand Activation, Festivals and Touring.

TJ is cross trained in the many disciplines required to successfully create, run and wrap a project from initial idea to tail lights.

There is also a creative side: "Best Screenplay" from Tribeca Film Festival as a Writer/Producer for the script "Plastic Indian" Winner Best Short Screenplay - Horror. He enjoys utilizing "Disruptive" thinking to deliver fresh ideas and solutions and is a great asset to any production team.

He is a multiple award winning screenwriter and published author with 30 years experience in a broad spectrum of physical production. "The Dark Valley" is his first narrative short film. An Auteur inspired by the filmmaking of Hitchcock, Welles, Peckinpah and Ford and literary influences such as Vonnegut, Hemingway and Thompson, Morehouse has created a short that can best be described as "Modern Film Noir'. The film was adapted from his original short story "The Dead Guy" later renamed "The Dark Valley'
