Biography

Terezinha Morango was born on October 26, 1936 in São Paulo de Olivença, Amazonas, Brazil. She was an actress, known for Garotas e Samba (1957), Girl of Ipanema (1967) and Miss Universe 1957 (1957). She was married to Alberto Pittigliani. She died on March 13, 2021 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Terezinha Morango was crowned the first Miss Amazonas and Miss Brazil in 1957. She later in the same year and was the runner-up in the Miss Universe pageant, finishing just behind the Peruvian Gladys Zender. For second time, Brazil was runner-up.
