Biography

Joseph Paul Moore was born on November 6, 1957 in Hollywood, California, USA. He is an assistant director and producer, known for Just Getting Started (2017), The Bernie Mac Show (2001) and Nightmare Cinema (2018). He has been married to Elaine A Jimenez since October 10, 1986. They have two children.

One of the youngest to be admitted into the Directors Guild of America (age 19) as an Assistant Director. Son of famed Television Director Irving J. Moore who passed away in 1993 (age 74).

On November 20, 1970 (Season 2, Episode 9) Joe played Jan Brady's boyfriend at her birthday party. The episode was titled "The Not-So Ugly Duckling". It was directed by Joe's dad, Irving J. Moore.

In 2015 received The American Comedy Society Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding work in Feature and Television Comedy Productions.
