Biography

Rosenda Monteros was born on August 31, 1935 in Veracruz, Mexico. She was an actress, known for The Magnificent Seven (1960), She (1965) and Rapiña (1975). She was married to Julio Bracho. She died on December 29, 2018 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Best known for her role as Petra, the girl found by Chico in the forest, in The Magnificent Seven (1960).

While she was in Europe, the actress also studied the art of mime, and performed with one of its foremost exponents, Marcel Marceau.

In 1990 she received the recognition of the Mexican Association of Theater Critics for the record of 263 theater performances. In 2003 she won the Best Actress award in Classic Theater of the Golden Age.

Mexican actress and dancer. Latterly noted for her many appearances in telenovelas.
