Biography

Corbett Monica was born on June 1, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He was an actor, known for Broadway Danny Rose (1984), The Joey Bishop Show (1961) and The Grasshopper (1970). He was married to Helen Stover. He died on July 22, 1998 in North Miami, Florida, USA.

Eighteen appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show (1948), frequent guest stints on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962).

He spent 40 years as the opening act for Frank Sinatra and other big-name singers.

Over the years he appeared with Paul Anka, Nat 'King' Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., Lena Horne, Dean Martin, Liza Minnelli, Jerry Vale, and made a late life career of appearing with Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé.

He and his first wife Helen had six children, including Elena Monica.
