John Mondin Actor / Comedian / Writer / Producer / Musician John Mondin was born in Washington, DC, and raised in Steubenville, Ohio. His journey in entertainment began as a stand-up comedian in the 1980s and 1990s, when he performed across 12 states and brought his unique humor to audiences nationwide. Known for his fearless style and comedic flair, he wrote and starred in his one-man show, Locked, Cocked and Ready for a Spanking, which he performed in New York City's Greenwich Village, capturing the attention of fans and industry professionals alike.

Mondin's talents soon landed him as a regular sketch performer on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, where he became known for his memorable characters and on-screen charisma. Alongside these appearances, he honed his craft in numerous commercials and off-off-Broadway productions, building his versatility and reputation as a dedicated performer. John's breakthrough role came with the film Coyote Ugly, which opened new doors in television and film. Since then, he has appeared in a range of acclaimed TV shows, including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Ray Donovan, The Blacklist, Boardwalk Empire, New Amsterdam, and Person of Interest. His ability to adapt to different roles has also made him a favorite in holiday movies, such as A Very Merry Toy Store and A Very Nutty Christmas.

Today, John Mondin continues to audition regularly, bringing his experience and passion for entertainment to new projects. He resides in Harlem, New York City, where he lives with his wife and their beloved cat.
