Roc Monaco began working as a professional actor over 40 years ago. He started his journey as a student at The Goodman School of Drama in Chicago in the late 70's. Eventually, Monaco made his way to Los Angeles where he continued studying and working professionally. Among his several teachers and workshops was his mentor and most influential teacher, the award-winning stage and film director, Milton Katselas.
Monaco's first professional performance was as a soldier in The Bolshoi Ballet's production of Romeo & Juliet at The Arie Crown Theatre. His credits in plays, television, and feature films number in the dozens. Monaco could be seen regularly on soap operas like The Bold & The Beautiful and The Young & The Restless. Additionally, he is a recipient of The Los Angeles Weekly Theatre Award for Outstanding Comedy Performance.
Since Monaco's reentry into the industry after a long hiatus, he is teaching acting classes, has a role in the Netflix series The Believers, appears in the films The Palace of Shadows, Operation Blood Hunt and The Kiss of the Con Queen. He has homes in Los Angeles, Chicago and Bangkok, Thailand.
