- Appreciated literature since she was a teenager, and, at the age of fifteen, she was fascinated by The River, by Jean Renoir, thus giving birth to her vocation for storytelling through cinema.
- To pave the way for future filmmakers, she founded in 2006 the Association of Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Media (CIMA), of which she was Honorary President.
- Managed to graduate in 1969 in Management, the first woman to achieve that merit in the EOC. She combined her studies with her work as a director's assistant at Televisión Española, until 1968.
