Albert Modley was born on March 3, 1901 in Liverpool, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Bob's Your Uncle (1942), Up for the Cup (1950) and Take Me to Paris (1951). He was married to Doris Readshaw. He died on February 23, 1979 in Morecambe, Lancashire, England, UK.

A cartoon starring Modley was on the cover of the 3006th - and last - issue of the UK's Comic Cuts magazine (12 September 1953). The 3006 issues would be the most by a comic book anywhere in the world until July 1999, when the UK's Dandy broke it with issue 3007.

British north-country comedian who appeared in occasional films. Particularly successful in pantomime from 1932. He also played various instruments, including drums, xylophone, harmonica and trumpet.

Won the amateur boxing championship of Yorkshire in 1917.
