Elvis Mitchell was born in 1958 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He is a producer and actor, known for Is That Black Enough for You?!? (2022), Black Lightning (2018) and The Black List: Volume One (2008).

Was member of the dramatic jury at the Sundance Film Festival in 1999.
