Biography

Chris Mitchell is the CBN News Middle East Bureau Chief based in Jerusalem, a role he has held since 2000, where he reports on Israel, the broader Middle East, and the global challenges facing the Church with clarity, experience, and a biblical perspective. A native of Boston, he holds a B.A. in History from the University of New Hampshire and an M.A. in Communication from Regent University. In addition to his front line reporting, he hosts and executive-produces "Jerusalem Dateline," CBN’s bi-weekly program exploring regional events through a Christian lens. Mitchell is also the author of several books-including "Dateline Jerusalem," "Destination Jerusalem," and "ISIS, Iran and Israel" -which reflect his decades of on-the-ground insight into the spiritual and geopolitical forces shaping the Middle East today.
