Biography

John Misto was born on October 13, 1952 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He is a writer, known for The Day of the Roses (1998), The Cut (2009) and The Damnation of Harvey McHugh (1994).

Won the 2003 Rodney Seaborn Award for Best New Play for Harp on the Willow (Winner).

Won the 1995 Australia Remembers Play Competition (Winner) for The Shoe-Horn Sonata.

Won the 1995 New South Wales Premier's Literary Award for Best Play for The Shoe-Horn Sonata.
