Danielle Jane Minogue was born in 1971, the youngest sister of Kylie Minogue and brother Brendan Minogue. By June 1978, she had secured a role in the Australian series Skyways (1979). A number of guest appearances followed, leading to her appearance as a "Talent Discovery" on the popular Young Talent Time (1971). Three years later, she became an official cast member. As Dannii's professional resume grew, so did her popularity. Her first fashion range, titled "Dannii", sold out in a record 10 days in 1988. International stardom came when Dannii took the role of Emma Jackson in the popular soap opera Home and Away (1988), which led to her receiving the "Most Popular Female TV Personality" Award at the Australian Television Awards 1989 Logie Awards. Her self-titled debut album was released in 1991. Her motion picture debut Secrets (1990) came in 1992, and she followed this success with a second album, "Get Into You", in 1993. Upon relocating to London in the early 1990s, Dannii hosted a series of talk shows for British television. After a break of three years, Dannii began work on her third album, "Girl", which was released on September 8, 1997.

May 2004: Embarked on Unite Against Hunger, a two-day event in South Africa with Nelson Mandela. Unite Against Hunger is a food crisis relief program, headed by food and health care giant Tigar Brands. The charity ensures that more than 10,000 children across South Africa get much needed food every month.
Gave birth to her son Ethan Edward Smith, child's father is her ex-boyfriend Kristopher "Kris" Smith, via emergency Caesarean section in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (5 July 2010).
16th December 2006: Fans at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia got a fantastic surprise when Dannii joined her sister Kylie Minogue on stage for a rip-roaring rendition of Kylie's hit: "Kids"! The sisters thrilled the sell-out crowd at Kylie's "Showgirl Homecoming Tour". This marked the first time the Minogue sisters have performed a song together for over 19 years.

I can't wait for my new album to be released, it's in the style of hot house disco. It will bring other elements to my sound, but keeping in the groove that I found with Neon Nights. I've been inspired by the pumping tunes of DJs working in Ibiza, Miama and Hot House destinations. I have worked with some of the same producers as Neon Nights, and some new ones. My main aim is heavy-fat-bass-lines, I love that thumping feeling. Hopefully I have topped Neon Nights, which was made with lots of love.
When asked what are the top things on her list when looking for the right guy: Gorgeous, available - gotta be single, none of this messing about, good sense of humor, protective - definitely, confident - I mean because loads of guys won't put up with my kind of job.
