Streaming Stars, Then and Now

G. Riley Mills is an Emmy Award-winning producer, writer and actor. His play Lift Every Voice (co-written with Chicago hip hop artist Prince Roc) won the 2022 Distinguished Play Award from the American Association of Theatre & Education. Their play Broke Down Drone premiered Off-Broadway at the Chain Theatre in NYC and was adapted into a film which won Best Narrative Short at the 2022 Chicago Indie Film Awards and "Best of the Fest" at the 2022 Chain Theatre NYC Film Festival. The duo recently wrote and produced The Lost Story of Emmett Till: Trial in the Delta (streaming on Peacock) for NBC and Collaboraction Theatre, which won a 2022 Regional Emmy Award. Mills produced the film Bed which premiered at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal and can be seen on Alter.
