Ruby Miller was born on July 14, 1889 in Brixton, London, England, UK. She was an actress, known for In Another Girl's Shoes (1917), Anna Karenina (1948) and Sorrell and Son (1933). She was married to Max Darewski and 2nd Lieutenant Philip Edward Samson. She died on April 2, 1976 in Chichester, West Sussex, England, UK.

One of George Edwardes' "Gaiety Girls", she claimed that a Russian duke was so enamoured of her that he drank champagne out of her shoe; when she noted that the shoe was now ruined, he ordered numerous pairs of new shoes to be delivered to her rooms the next day.

Her second husband Max Darewski was a well-known pianist, composer, and conductor.

First husband, Lieutenant Phillip Samson, was killed in action in World War I.
