Biography

Dan Miller was born on September 30, 1941 in Augusta, Georgia, USA. He was an actor and producer, known for Top Card (1989), Big Dreams & Broken Hearts: The Dottie West Story (1995) and Miller & Company (1992). He was married to Karen Jo Wedgeworth and Eileen McCoy. He died on April 8, 2009 in Augusta, Georgia, USA.

Was Pat Sajak's announcer and sidekick on his short-lived talk show.

Worked as a news anchor for WSMV-TV in Nashville.

Veteran Nashville TV news anchor at WSMV-TV. Later went to Los Angeles in 1986 and served as an anchor at KCBS-TV for two years. Returned to Nashville in the early 1990s and resumed his position at WSMV in 1995 and remained until his death.

Dan was in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia, covering the Masters golf tournament. He and his close friend and colleague, Rudy Kalis, were walking through Dan's old neighborhood, when Dan suffered his fatal heart attack.

Co-host, with Donny Gay and Pamela Minick, of the Mesquite Rodeo on the Nashville Network in the early 2000s.
