Biography

David Millin was born on June 11, 1920 in Cape Town, South Africa. He was a director and cinematographer, known for Stropers van die Laeveld (1962), African Gold (1965) and Seven Against the Sun (1964). He was married to Zelda Millin. He died on May 26, 1999 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Spectacular vistas, huge (but accurate) battle scenes and a very dry sense of humour.

Had been a member of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) since 1972. He was the first African filmmaker to become a member.
