Michael immigrated from England to the USA in 1953. He stayed with his
godmother, Jessica Tandy. He served as a Marine with Mike 3/7 made
famous by "A Face Of War" (documentary). He is the only British subject
to receive three purple hearts in Vietnam. He became the protege of
famed cinematographer, Lee Garmes. later he was friends and partners
with Peter Cook and Graham Chapman (Python Founder). Known as a
multi-talented filmmaker.
