Son of a Duncan dancer, choreograph and dance teacher Jarmila Jerábková and Ing. Ladislav Mikulík.

He worked as a sound engineer since 1968. First at Krátký film in Prague where he collaborated primarily with the filmmaker [[Jan Malír (I)]]. He was chosen by the director [[Vera Chytilová]] for her film [[Prague: The Restless Heart of Europe (1984)]] and he also participated in the time-lapse documentary [[Hledání cest (1989)]] (Quest for Ways) directed by [[Helena Trestíková]]. Under the direction of Paul Klee, he has worked with cameraman [[Ervin Sanders]] on filming a series of documentaries for the United Nations on postage stamps, water, and employed women. He has also prepared multimedia programs for world exhibitions in Vancouver, Brisbane and Osaka.

The aircraft was used, for example, by [[Jan Sverák]] when shooting the films [[The Ride (1994)]] and [[Kolya (1996)]], or by [[Filip Renc]] in the film [[Válka barev (1993)]] (The War of Colors).
