- Rokusaburô Michiba was born on January 3, 1931 in Nakayama-onsen, Ishikawa, Japan. He is an actor, known for Tsuribaka nisshi 17: Ato wa Noto nare Hama to nare! (2006), Iron Chef (1993) and Tsukiji Wonderland (2016).
- Born in 1931, in Ishikawa Prefecture. Iron Chef Michiba was undoubtedly one of the strongest of the Iron Chefs. He did not believe in borders in his cooking, so while his style was Japanese, he would use ingredients from many other countries. This risky technique helped him prevail over many worthy foes. Michiba is also known as "The Rebel of Japanese Cuisine".
Iron Chef Michiba retired in Jan.3,1995 on his 65th birthday.
