Paul Michael(II)

Paul is an award winning post-production sound designer and ReRecording engineer. He has been nominated for two Oscars for the films, My Country, My Country directed by Oscar winner Laura Poitras and News for the Church directed by Andrew McCarthy. He has been nominated for multiple Emmys with two wins for Regional commercial work. He worked at the largest Post house in NYC for 39 years and In that time designed and mixed many TV shows and Feature films as well as Documentaries. Paul started working in Film with up to 80 Magnetic dubbers and high speed film projectors. He now works remotely at his 7.1.4 Atmos studio that features a large VO booth, Foley pits and the latest Protools rig with Genelec monitors. He takes a project from start to finish and is presently focused on Independent theatrical projects and TV series. Paul's specialty is restoring problematic production sound. He was a pioneer in this field creating manuals and protocols for this process. His present studio translates seamlessly to any venue or exposition medium.
