Biography

Claudine Meunier was born on April 26, 1926 in France. She is an actress, known for The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964), Dumbo (1941) and The Young Girls of Rochefort (1967).

French actress, voice actress and chanteuse. From the mid-1950s, she accompanied stars like Édith Piaf, Andy Williams, Sacha Distel, Dionne Warwick, Sylvie Vartan and Gilbert Bécaud. She was a member of many vocal groups in various genres,including variety (Les Barclay, Les Angels, Les Hélianes), world music (Les Masques) or jazz (Les Blue Stars, Les Double Six - under her maiden name, Claudine Barge -, the Swingle Singers and Quire).
