Biography

Irving Metzman was born on March 28, 1946 in New York, USA. He is an actor, known for WarGames (1983), Annie (1982) and The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985).

Changed his name to "Irving Metzman", the name of his character in the second play he did. Planned to change his name for each appearance to that of his character in the play before, but didn't follow through and has remained known as "Irving Metzman".

Discovered by playwright Robert Patrick for his Off-Off Broadway play, "The Sleeping Bag", in 1965.

Was frequently cast by Woody Allen.

Is a published playwright. His play "Partners" appeared in "Dramatics" Magazine in its March/April 1979 issue.
