Dale 'Mad Dog' Messmer

Born and raised in the Wichita, Kansas area, attended college and served in The United States Marine Corps from '65 to '75 when medically discharged due to injuries. Worked as a bartender, bouncer, body guard, bounty hunter, sheriff's deputy (SWAT), mercenary and debt collector. Served 10+ years in state and federal prisons for drug smuggling, weapons/explosives smuggling and money laundering. Formed S.T.O.P. (The Straight Talk Outreach Program) to bring first-hand lessons on making bad choices to over 1400 schools across America to date. Joined SAG in 1997 and works in "the entertainment industry" intermittently while devoting most of his time to helping "at risk" youth. Frequently appears on The Maury Povich Show, working with 'out of control teens', and has been the subject of many television news segments across the country regarding S.T.O.P. and his work with kids. Is a frequent speaker at colleges and universities. Is married to Dee Dee and currently lives on Table Rock Lake in The Ozarks of Missouri.
