- Grew up on an apple and pear orchard in Parkdale, Oregon. Graduate of New York University, Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 1996. Studied two years at the Meisner Extension with Lauri Peters and two years at the Atlantic Theater Company with many teachers including Scott Zigler, David Mamet, William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman, Robert Bella, Karen Kohlhaas, and Mary B. McCann. MAT from George Fox University (2005) and an MFA in Acting from UC Davis (2008). Has worked professionally as an actor, director, producer and writer in New York City and in 120 cities in 34 states on national tours.
