Biography

Käte Merk was born on July 15, 1919 in Munich, Germany. She was an actress, known for Die Geierwally (1940), Großstadtmelodie (1943) and Donner, Blitz und Sonnenschein (1936). She died in 1997.

The actress Käte Merk began her film career already at the age of 15 with "Die Frauen vom Tannhof" (1934) by the director Franz Seitz.

She was able to continue her film career during wartime and took part in the production "Die Geierwally" (1940).
