Daniel Mellitz is a Visual Effects Supervisor best known for his work on 11.22.63 (2016), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013), and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021). He was born in St. Louis, MO and moved to Los Angeles to study film at CSULB and began his career in visual effects at Digital Domain building video carts for motion control model shoots on The Fifth Element (1997), Dante's Peak (1997), and Titanic (1997). He is also the writer and director of the film, The Naked Ape (2006).
