Biography

Maria Meissner was born on June 14, 1905 in Germany. She was an actress, known for Liebeslied (1935), Liselotte von der Pfalz (1935) and Mr. Kobin Seeks Adventure (1934). She died on December 19, 1994 in Bradenton, Florida, USA.

She joined the film business in 1931 and she impersonated support roles in the next years.

The actress Maria Meissner began her career at the theater where she impersonated numerous roles on different stages.

During World War II she only appeared once in front of the camera for "Der Majoratsherr" (1943).

She continued her career at the theater after the war. Later she emigrated to the USA.
