Der Ausbilder-Schmidt-Film (2008) and Unruhezeiten (2019). He was married to Angelika Meiser, Sabine Meiser-Binkenstein and Sylvie Meiser. He died on 30 October 2023 in Scharbeuz, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
