- Will Meisel was born on September 17, 1897 in Rixdorf, Berlin, Germany. He was a composer and actor, known for Eine Freundin so goldig wie Du (1930), Auf der grünen Wiese (1953) and Trouble Backstairs (1935). He was married to Eliza Illiard. He died on April 29, 1967 in Müllheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

- He studied music and dance from the age of 5 and five years later he was already a member of the royal opera of Berlin as a dancer.
