  • At a young age, Meier was obsessed with drawing and painting. Unbeknownst to his parents, he reached out to the founding fathers of Walt Disney Animation: Ollie Johnson, Frank Thomas and Ward Kimball. Through a love of character expressed on the page, he began a spirited correspondence that lasted for over a decade and was coached by the Disney veterans to improve his skills. "Take up acting to learn your characters," was the advice that lead young Meier to take up the local stage in the Boston Community and then onto his film career starting with Robert Mandel's film, School Ties.

    Meier continued his training in Film, Theater and Dance at Ithaca College, abroad in London, and then New York City. Working in Production in addition to acting, he joined the DGA which lead to Line Producing the indie feature, In My Pocket. He continued to maintain the west-coast division of Burnside Entertainment alongside his mentor and business partner Glen Trotiner, with company credits including: The Briefcase, Bella, Bernard and Doris, Union Square, and King of Herrings (winner of the 2013 Audience Award New Orleans Film Festival). He joined forces with the special makeup effects and independent production company, Illusion Industries Inc., as their Studio Liaison and Head of Physical Production under the title of Executive Vice President / Staff Line Producer. While there, Meier helped facilitate and oversee builds on such TV shows as Sons of Anarchy and Southland along with such films as Smurfs 1 & 2, Transformers 3, The East, Devil's Pass, Fright Night 2, The Iceman, Stalingrad and G.I. Joe 2, while continuing to oversee production, financing, delivery and distribution on all of Illusion's titles.

    Meier left Illusion to return to his love of being on set with the Cast and Crews. Producing with Josh Waller, Elijah Wood, Leigh Whannell and Ian Brennan on the feature film Cooties. The film became an official Sundance Film Festival Selection and sold to Lionsgate for a domestic theatrical release followed up with the series The Maker Shack Agency for Amazon Studios and Electus. He then worked alongside Trevor Macy under Intrepid Pictures on The Bye Bye Man then joined the team at Blumhouse led by Jason Blum and Jeanette Volturno where he executive produced Visions starring Isla Fisher, Jim Parsons and Eva Longoria, then the Akiva Goldsman directed Supernatural Thriller, Stephanie and the box office hit Happy Death Day alongside Christopher Landon.

    In 2017, Mr. Meier began working with Amblin Partners serving as Executive Producer on their features The Turning starring Mackenzie Davis and Finn Wolfhard, A Dog's Journey Directed by Gail Mancuso and starring Dennis Quaid, the LA unit of Finch starring Tom Hanks; Easter Sunday starring Jo Koy which then led to him EPing Amblin's first collaboration with Netflix, Carry On starring Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman, Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.

    After 7 years of collaboration with Amblin, Meier went on to work on 3 titles with 20th Century Studios including Ella McCay, The Hand That Rocks The Cradle; Send Help and recently started working for Apple Studios on the Jason Segel/James Ponsoldt collaboration entitled Sponsor.
