Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Gerrit van der Meer is a Dutch-born film and television producer and production executive whose American career spans nearly four decades. After working in production management and post-production, including on The Exterminator and Barry Levinson’s Sleepers, he became a producer and unit production manager on Felicity. He subsequently produced all eight seasons of House, eventually serving as co-executive producer and receiving four Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Drama Series. House also received a Peabody Award. His later television work includes co-executive-producing The Blacklist and Hemlock Grove and producing Greenleaf. He now lives in Pennsylvania.
