Dana Medřická was born on 11 July 1920 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. She was an actress, known for Alexander Dumas starsi (1970), Who Wants to Kill Jessie? (1966) and The Turn of the Screw (1982). She was married to Artemio Precioso Ugarte and Václav Vydra. She died on 21 January 1983 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic].

[on Cerni myslivci (1945)]: "At the end of 1944, we went to Stary Knin for exteriors for the film. We never finished it. The end of the war came, the work was interrupted and unfortunately we never went back to it. We couldn't understand why and we regretted it very much.
