Biography

Mark McLaughlin has a diverse portfolio, having written, produced, and occasionally edited various documentary, television, and corporate programs.

Some of his notable works include "Shadow Nation" a documentary exploring the injustices against Native Americans, the PBS series "Market Warriors" following antique pickers on a nationwide treasure hunt, a Warner Brothers documentary on the history of Superman, and a comprehensive 13-part series on the history of Hollywood Musicals. His independent feature documentary, "Keepers of the Frame" emphasizes the importance of film preservation and has won multiple awards

Mark also has unique experiences in his career, such as living for a couple of months in a tent at the North Pole while co-producing "Surviving Mars" for the Discovery Channel, and producing "Rewind America!" where he spent time with an 80-year-old ex-stripper at the Burlesque Hall of Fame!

Before his current work, Mark worked as a freelance lighting and sound technician, contributing to projects such as "Nova", "National Geographic" and "Scientific American Frontiers". Notably, Mark McLaughlin is a member of The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
