John Hugh McKnight was born on August 26, 1939 in New York, New York, USA. He was an actor, known for Gone in 60 Seconds (2000), Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) and Detective in the House (1985). He died on November 6, 2024 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Attended a college in Florida and went into the banking business for three years. Moved then from San Francisco to Los Angeles and joined the casting agency Central Casting.

Earned his Screen Actors Guild card while working as extra on the 1967 film "Easy Come, Easy Go".
