  • Georgina McKevitt is from Dublin, Ireland and spent over ten years in the USA. At age of 14, Georgina joined the legendary Dublin Youth Theatre (DYT). DYT is credited with launching the careers of many of Ireland's premier performers in film, television, theatre and entertainment, including Aidan Gillan (The Wire, Game of Thrones). During her time here, she performed in all the main stage and in house productions while training in various theatrical fields.

    In 2007 Georgina co-founded, Wicked Angels Productions, with Jacinta Sheerin. Together they co-wrote, produced and performed in their first play, 'Waiting for IKEA'. The first show in the history of Dublin Fringe Festival, to sell out in advance of opening. 'Waiting for IKEA' ran for over 5 years receiving critical acclaim and 5 star reviews across Ireland, in London and Off Broadway, New York. They also co-wrote and produced, 'Im not A.D.H.D....Im B.O.L.D.', which won The Bewleys Theatre Little Gem Award 2012.

    In the US Georgina performed on stage in LA, San Francisco and many times Off Broadway NYC, where she received a Best Actress Nomination from The 1st Irish Theatre Festival. Whilst there she continued to train with The Groundlings, The Acting Corp, Australian Institute of Dramatic Art and UCLA for screenwriting with Billy Mernit.

    Since returning to Ireland has worked with; Paula Malcomson on the TV show Redemption, Red Bear Production's new play, 'Once in a Lifetime' by Tracy Martin, Petrified the award winning horror fiction anthology podcast, Flying Turtles Production's 'First Look' readings and Film Network Ireland as a host for their podcast, Wrapchats. Georgina also received the Axis Assemble Bursary and was accepted on to The Gap Day Programme.
