- George McKay was born on April 15, 1884 in Minsk, Russian Empire [now Belarus]. He was an actor, known for Devil's Playground (1937), Unknown Woman (1935) and Case of the Missing Man (1935). He was married to Ottie Ardine. He died on December 3, 1945 in Hollywood, California, USA.

- McKay started his career as a bareback rider with a circus and later toured vaudeville with Gus Edwards' troupe. He also appeared for three years in the Ziegfeld Follies (1913-15). In 1933, he signed with Columbia Pictures and played numerous supporting and bit roles.
