Biography

San Francisco native, entered into rest September 5, 2013. Charlie began his performance career at the San Jose Children's Music Theatre, and continued with the American Musical Theatre of San Jose as a performer and choreographer. Charlie went on to have a successful career as a professional dancer and actor in film, television, on stage in Hollywood, on Broadway and internationally. Charlie was an inspirational figure to students of his master's classes, taught across the US and overseas. He taught dance to ages young and old throughout his life.

Remembered by most for his role in A Chorus Line, Charles had always been an amazing dancer and teacher, but he was also a genuinely kind, down-to-earth man who will be sorely missed and never forgotten by the many people whose lives he touched.
