Trivia

  • Was killed on Interstate 210, when, in an attempt to avoid an obstacle, his car skidded and plunged down an embankment, hitting a parked truck.
  • Loved to play cards as a kid, especially knuckles, and wanted to be a Magician when he grew up.
  • Graduated with a B.A. from the Boston University School of Fine Arts.
  • Served with the U.S. Army in Germany.
  • Ironically, and tragically, given that Walter McGinn died in an automobile accident, the last feature film he appeared in, Bobby Deerfield, is about a race car driver trying to figure out how a fellow driver died in a race car crash. McGinn plays Al Pacino's brother and shares an intense scene in the film's beginning. He died ten months before the film was released.
